The Pilot Inn recently relaunched as a family pub situated on picturesque Gloucester and Sharpness Canal welcoming customers from all walks of life. When reopening their mission was to provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere with a variety of attractions on offer at different times to bring like-minded social groups together and therefore approached us to assist.

The challenge….

The Pilot Inn wanted a CCTV system to help them with their mission to deter any thoughts of anti-social behavior and providing a safe and welcoming family atmosphere. They had a limited budget so needed a cost-effective, user-friendly solution that was easy to control and delivered high quality images day and night, and that had flexibility to change as the business changed.

The solution….

We were able to use our 30+ years of experience to design a solution to meet their needs. We suggested a Hik-Vision HD IP solution specifically designed for small systems of up to 16 cameras.

Using the Hikvision Cameras, Network Video Recorder & Monitors, the client got the latest HDTV image quality, remote access and storage capabilities within the available budget.

It allowed the flexibility to grow the system as they needed and provided them remote access day and night to view live and recorded images wherever they were.

The result….

We were awarded the contract to design and install the system based on our knowledge and experience and we had impressed the client with ideas that others hadn’t suggested and ability to get the most from the budget.

The system was delivered and installed within budget and The New Pilot Inn now has a cost-effective, easy-to-use IP surveillance system that is monitored by the on site staff and can be accessed remotely via a PC, smartphone, or tablet.
