Garage Conversion is a cost-effective way to make space
The project was to demolish and rebuild a garage and introduce a new bedroom above with an en-suite. Our client needed the extra space and this was the most cost-effective option.
We arranged for the plans to be drawn and all structural calculations to be done.
We also applied for planning permission and building regulations.
This project was finished within 8 weeks and on budget. We also laid a new driveway and constructed a small porch and downstairs bathroom.
A standard sized single garage can give you around 14 metre Sq of extra space, so is great if you are looking for somewhere to house a home office, playroom or guest bedroom, even a downstairs shower room and utility. It might also offer the potential to extend an existing space, such as your kitchen or hallway, depending on the layout of your home.
A double garage can add around 28 metre square and gives you the option of using part of the space for storage or still as a garage and the rest as living space.
